Kilcrea Friary

Welcome back everyone! What a week it has been. Firstly the Facebook page has hit over 1200 likes. To say I'm astonished is probably the biggest understatement you will ever hear. If someone told me three years ago my little Blog Site would have over 1200 followers I would have laughed right in your face. So firstly thank you to everyone for your continued support, I do it all for you!

Two weeks ago I treated myself to my very first drone and I simply cannot get enough of it. I have taken a few videos which I have posted online but these videos were of my home village in Kerry. For those who have seen them I hope you enjoyed viewing them as much as I did making them.

Now I promised I would create some videos of Cork with my drone and today was the day I created my first drone video in Cork. I chose the location of Kilcrea Abbey near Ballincollig. I chose this spot for a number of reasons, 1) I had never been there and it's literally 10 minutes from my door and 2) the weather isn't great today so I needed to find somewhere nearby.

Off the beaten track down a small lane way located is the Abbey and its magnificent, so peaceful and quiet. If you ever have a spare hour make sure to pop down there and check it out.

I have included the video below.
