Stripping it back to basics!

As the Shapeshifters famously sang back in 2005 "Lets get back to basics" I felt it was time to do the same with Life In Cork . 6 months ago when I changed platforms from Weebly to Wix as a host for the site I had big dreams. I wanted to create a great website dedicated to The Rebel County and my life in it! It became apparent very quickly that I had bitten off way more than I could chew. I mean all I can offer is a blog. Not a massive e-commerce website.

Over the past few weeks, I have been trying to figure out how I could fill the website with content. And I could have done it. But lets call a spade a spade here people, it would have been awful. It would have been a lot more of "Quantity over Quality" and that's just not me. My life isn't like Eastenders or Corrie but its a bit more realistic than Fair City.. my acting is much better but my life is just ordinary.

So I have decided to peel it all back, bring it back to being a blog and not a fancy website. It allows me to update blogs easier, it means I have less time worrying about what to upload. It also means I can concentrate on making blogs about Cork and what the City has to offer.

It's a one page blog-site now, everything is in one place and it's super easy to navigate. I really hope you all enjoy it.

To everyone who has followed me since day 1, I completely understand this is like the 10th change to the website. But I really do feel I have found a happy place for life in Cork now.

You will also be able to see at the top of the page links to the Social Media accounts that I have created these include FaceBook and Instagram. Today I have created the newest Social Media account on Pintrest. Im new to this so Im still finding my feet but will be uploading all the photos and drone videos there. Please give a shout out and a follow if you are on Pintrest.

Once again thank you all so much for your continued support here at Life in Cork.
